I have been a teacher for just under a decade. I yearned to teach since I was in the first grade. As such, I have a passion for tutoring children. I have had jobs babysitting, counseling kids at camp, assisting teachers, and being a teacher myself. I have a lot of know-how tutoring students age 4 through fifth grade. I have taught AIS Math and participated in the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project.I have also taught special needs children. My students have had all levels of learning abilities. I personally feel that learning should be fun and exciting, and I always try to inspire my students to have similar feelings. Subjects that I tutor include Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, English, and assistance with test prep. When not tutoring, I like to read, cook, work in the garden, and cross stitch.
