I hold a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in French and another in Business Administration from St. John's University. I also hold teaching certifications in both Spanish and French. I student-taught Spanish to freshmen and sophomores. I believe that each student learns a bit differently, and that it is important for a tutor to recognize these differences and adjust accordingly. Learning a foreign language can be daunting, but it needn't be. I present the material in small, manageable pieces and use this approach to put students at ease. I've always been interested in foreign languages, and have had the opportunity to hone my skills with travel abroad, also developing familiarity with both Italian and German. I offer tutoring in Spanish 1-4, French 1-2, German 1, and Italian. In addition to foreign languages, I enjoy cooking and home decorating.
